Then you don't want normal numbers. Theoretically when you generate numbers
from the normal distribution, it can give you numbers from the whole real
line. Getting numbers much larger than a couple standard deviations from the
mean is unlikely but possible.

You will need to describe more clearly what SPECIFICALLY you're trying to
do. At first you're talking about random numbers, now you're using the word
"dates" and those don't seem very related to me. Unless, of course, you mean
_data_ when you used the word _dates._ If that's the case, describe
specifically the properties that you want the generated numbers to have.
